USINT congratulates students upon completion of Communications distance learning course

On Wednesday, February 23, the US Interests Section (USINT) hosted a ceremony to mark the completion of a distance learning course in communications by four Cuban students.   During the six-week course students refined their reading and writing skills and reviewed grammar laws.  They also practiced the preparation of documents such as descriptive texts, curriculum vitae, meeting notes and application letters. 

The communications course is one of several online courses offered by the Centro Virtual Massociedad via internet at USINT.  USINT offers the opportunity of study in other areas, including journalism, English conversation and computing.
