American Citizen Services Unit

Our American Citizen Services Unit can be reached by dialing (537) 833-3551 through 833-3559 during business hours, except Cuban and U.S. federal holidays.  Our fax number is (537)  833-1653.

For general inquiries regarding U.S. passports and citizenship, or other American citizen issues please contact us via e-mail at havanaconsularinfo@state.gov or at the numbers listed above.

For emergencies when the American Citizen Services Unit is closed or after hours (for U.S. Citizens only), please call: (537) 833-2302. Do not call this number for routine visa inquiries.

Immigrant and Non-Immigrant Visa

The Consular Information Unit can be reached Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at telephone number (537) 834-4400.

Given the large daily demand of telephone calls from applicants in Cuba and petitioners in the United States, it can be difficult to reach us. We recommend that you visit our Frequently Asked Questions section before communicating with us.
