USINT English Teacher DVC Workshop. February 24, 2012

February 24, 2012 – USINT hosted a digital video conference (DVC) workshop to introduce a newly-designed English teaching curriculum.  English Language Specialist Kristen Danek, ESL Program Coordinator at North Carolina State University, presented the “Connect with English” curriculum to seventeen eager Cuban English teachers.  Danek outlined the design of the new course, including an explanation of current teaching methodology and tips for success in the classroom.  Participants took part in a series of lessons and exercises to familiarize them with the program of study.
