Hollywood Stars attended a reception held at the residence of USINT Chief of Mission.
On Saturday afternoon, Aug. 1, USINT Chief of Mission Jonathan Farrar held a reception for some Hollywood film and entertainment stars at his residence.
The notables, including actors James Caan, Benicio del Toro, Robert Duvall, and Bill Murray, were accompanied by producers Laura Bickford and Steve Bing, consultant Stephen Rivers, screenwriter Mitch Glazer, and pollster Stan Greenberg among others.
Many of the group were in town to research an upcoming movie about pre-revolutionary Cuba. The event afforded the post an opportunity to reach out to contacts at the International Film and TV School (EICTV) in Havana and a number of well-known Cuban TV and film actors, several of whom were in attendance.
