USINT congratulates students upon completion of “Communications” distance learning course
On Monday July 19, the US Interests Section (USINT) hosted a ceremony to mark the completion of a distance learning course in communications by seven Cuban students. During the six-week course, offered by the Centro Virtual Massociedad, students refined their reading and writing skills and practiced the preparation of documents such as a curriculum vitae, meeting notes and application letters.
The Centro Virtual Massociedad is an online learning initiative co-founded by the Monterrey Technology Institute, the Business Foundation of Mexico (FUNDAMEX, by its Spanish initials) and Microsoft. Massociedad offers courses in a number of areas, including leadership, ethics and transparency, corporate responsibility and conservation. All courses are offered online and many are free.
