Service Overview
The American Citizen Services Unit assists U.S. citizens with the following:

Provide application for new or stolen passport

Renew Passports
-
Register citizens living in, traveling to, or born in Cuba

Register American citizens with voter registration
-
Provide federal income tax forms
-
Provide service to notarize documents to be used in the United States
-
Provide limited assistance to American prisoners in Cuba
-
Ship remains of deceased Americans to the United States
-
Assist with money wires to American citizens in case of emergency
What American Citizen Services CANNOT Do:

Act as your lawyer, translator, interpreter, personal assistant, travel agent, investigator, law enforcement agent or real estate agent
-
Provide you or your family with physical protection
-
Pay your debts or fines, sort out property disputes; or interfere in judicial proceedings

Find you employment, residence, or schools
-
Search for missing luggage

Settle disputes with hotel managers and landlords
