As part of its activities to commemorate U.S. Independence Day, the US Interests Section (USINT) hosted a presentation on the historical importance of the celebration.
On Wednesday July 7th USINT hosted a presentation on the historical relevance behind the founding of the United States of America. During the talk, presenter Dale Lawton discussed the founding of the United States by English settlers, as well as the American War of Independence.
In addition, he discussed the different ways in which Americans celebrate the July 4th holiday, the official date on which the Declaration was first signed in 1776.
